Fitting the theme of the show, these people usually still had some type of extraordinary ability or mutation, but they were still human, with hopes, fears, goals, and in some cases, pure malice. Some were just entirely too human monsters, which served to illustrate that people can be just as terrifying as any creature hiding in the shadows.
